Disagree. If you oppose a war on moral grounds, you probably should not fight it and certainly should protest it. But with kerry it goes further. Why would someone who opposes the war enlist? Was he like clinton trying to protect himself politically so he could run for pres some day. Clinton did it by evasion and kerry by enlistment. Again if you are against the war, clintons path makes more sense. Actally so doesn Bushes--just join the Guard.
PS i dont know if he volunteered for a combat role or not. As karen would say i was popping off. <g>
