was the perfect indicator for someone fading my remarks (if you were a short term trader)

I use myself as an indicator quite a bit too.
And I can say I use if quite successfully at times too.
But you're right too, it's more of a short term indicator(most of them usually are as the longer term trends ste other, more practical indicators
It's like I can be watching the action on a stock I have a position in
and I know maybe others here on the thread might as well.
Wellm, I can sit there and watch it going with me and I'm all like "way to go dood" to myslef.
And then something will trigger in me and I'll want to post a "Whoooohaaa, baby" or something like that
Or I will just think. "Hey, I w0nder what is being posted on SI WRT to that sotck?"

And like clockwork almost.
Thatis usually a S/T turning point, either a time to cover, sell, or buy more, or what ever, etc...

I also use to use rich1 a few years ago when he was, um, well, when he was a more friendly, happier person.
But I would love to watch his p[osts
and man, I'm tellin you, like him or not, he helped make me a lot of money back in '01.

I can post that now about him(an indicator) cuz I don't use him any more.
Heck, I haven't even seen any of his posts in quite a while.
I couldn't tell you if he is still around SI any more.
Such is life.
I've found other indicators and moved on.

BTW, I also remember using you for a very short spell on one particulat stock.<g>
It was a loong time ago.
It was actually before we'd met! ;`)

BTW, if you were to be taking up the other side of almost every one of my positions
You'd be making some good coinage today<ng>
Thank God I got the where with all to fade some of them with day trades- some small consolation
