It may also be that warfare and anti-terrorist actions have to be combined at times. Defeating the Taliban may have been necessary to stop their basing of Al Qaeda, but it is a grave mistake to confuse the warfare necessary to change the Taliban's policy from the act of catching the terrorists. This is an area where the administration has confused itself because it lacks the languange skills to distinguish between the different situations and goals.

You're absolutely right. We need to go underground and be as subversive as al Qaeda but the administration is 'old school' and wants to fight a war like they fought with the Taliban. That's what Rummie and the rest are geared for......not Mission Impossible.
