O'Dalin, Happy St. Patrick's Day! Did you ever get any pics of your Annual Crawdad's Party. (I forget the real name.) Must have been a good one if you got your anchor caught on a log. How long were you motoring up the river before you realized you were dragging it? <g> Actually I drove down the lake one time with my anchor fully submerged. It was a slow hot day of fishing that caused it. There fish weren't biting which caused my buddy and I to accidentally drink every last beer in the cooler. I was lucky it didn't catch hold of anything while moving... I sort of felt like a real dork when my father who was standing at the dock pointed out that I was either dragging the anchor or a really bad water skier. -AnchorDraggingNimrod
