I don't see it that way, Nadine. I think that those were different times and, whether or not they realized that the standard approach wouldn't work, they were imbued with the spirit of the times, which was that it's not acceptable to shoot first and ask questions later. Remember, we had laws against assassination.

Regardless of how history views Clinton on this, things are different now.
