Of course Bush was AWOL, otherwise he'd be able to prove he wasn't, and would recollect where he was and when. He pretends to have a very hazy memory. So does everyone else in Alabama at the time. Just one old codger who sounds like a BS artist (gave Hardball the wrong month in 1972) who claims to have seen GW in uniform, but no corroborating witnesses with any credibility. Just a dental chart. So GW got a free dental check-up.
