If Bushies stop covering up the energy crimes we'd get the evidence. From the beginning Bush's people have refused to investigate, stonewalled and tried to cover the whole thing up. Ed Gillespie's job as PR whiz for both Enron and a GOP PAC was to take their $$$ and wage a TV campaign to blame the energy crimes on the victims. Once Bush-Cheney came into power, they stonewalled several investgations. Court orders for Cheney to hand over his energy papers have been stonewalled. Cheney uses the "national security" excuse which is hogwash. Enron and other crooks have by now probably shredded everything. Reportedly, the shredding machines were going 24 hours a day at Enron there for awhile.
