I watched the end of Cheney's speech. He brought that up. He also said that, based on Kerry's votes, Saddam would still be in power and still control Kuwait. Got a good laugh. He then went over Kerry's votes on Iraq, and did a speech version of the "Defense" ad that Bush is running. A good attack that Kerry will cry "distortion!", about.

Distortion! and "they are doing this because they can't defend their record!", seem to be the stock answer to all these questions.

Sure those soldiers should just follow his example and either be born a rich or marry well. For the rest of them a diet of pasta topped off with heinz ketchup will suffice on the battlefield. mike
