That's it. I ran the outside spigot for half an hour to get all the rust out of the line. Then I started to back flush my iron filter. Usually that's 5 minutes of orange water and then clear. I've been running it an hour and a half and the water is still grey with little black dust particles. Changing the pump and having zero pressure in the tank must have shaken loose 15 years worth of iron from the media filter.
