Many had forgot about Bre-X (BRX.to) but we all know Worldcom, Enron, Healthsouth.

Nobody's being thrown out of helicopters yet:) How bad can it be?

My guess is that this is all going to boil down to a "he said, she said" How do you go about proving that the CFO wasn't just being cautious, prudent & executing his fiduciary responsibilities by over allowing reserves in the money losing years. As luck would have it (and due to excellent administrative work) some of the reserves weren't needed and so magically reappear in the first money making year.. thereby triggering management bonuses for their good work.

Unless someone throws them under the bus, I think they're bulletproof.
