But where do you see shock and awe applied to OBL?

You're thinking black and white. Its imperative we start seeing the distinctions between these groups......not the differences between their ideologies or religious beliefs or cultural morals but rather the differences between their MOs....how they operate. When they are work above ground and are visible like Saddam and the Taliban, you can use shock and awe. For those 'below ground', you have to hunt them one guy at a time.......more with mercenaries rather than standard military.

Yeah..but what do we know of US underground efforts? How can I be critical of what I don't know? I mean, Afghanistan was taken out from within (kind of), Iraq (a HUGE mistake) was taken out with massive military force, and OBL is being chased in the hills. Cover actions? I am assuming that we have some, but if I knew about it, how covert would it be?
