Ms. Williamson as Dinesh' legal councilor, speaking on his behalf, I find the question not only objectionable but repugnant in it's scope.

Given the overall sentiment towards the economy and tech these days (bad, especially on jobs and capex), this from John Chambers seemed almost upbeat to me.

"If you're watching for the job growth ... capital spending growth will precede that by one to two quarters," Chambers said at a Merrill Lynch conference in New York, which was broadcast over the Internet.

"CFOs are still keeping one foot on the brake," he added, referring to his view that corporate chief financial officers are slowly increasing their spending on technology.

I've been watching hotjobs with some queries everyday and the number of jobs do seem to be tending up slowly week by week. Its so slow probably nobody notices but it is better than going backward which is what was happening for a while. Linux for my area had 367 jobs last week and now 380.
