How nice that you found a whiney conservative pundit to bitch by proxy. Boortz seems to be quite popular among W's true believers, on SI, big whip. There's hardly a shortage of bloviating conservative punditry in the world today. Now go back to the W thread or your own personal vendetta "facts" thread where your "facts and logic" style is no doubt greatly appreciated.

The current "unemployment rate" is only at 5.6% because the govt. has conveniently left out people no longer looking for work; these include a.discouraged workers, b. people who are back in school because they are waiting out the poor job market and retraining and c. people who are forced or want to scam the system and get SSI or Workman's comp. (this figure has jumped from 1.2 million people to 1.9 million people in three years. it does not include people whose jobs have been cut to part time or reclassified down; these categories total several million more in the last three years. The real unemployment is around 7.4 to 7.6 percent of the workforce. Throw in the part timers and people whose salaries have been cut and people "working for themselves" because no real work has turned up and you can easily come up with over 14 million people. This is around 5 to 7 million more people in job stress than in Clinton's last term. and several million more than in his first term.
