This is really not a big deal. It stems from the SEC action taken a few years ago. I believe it dealt with the recognition of revenue and customer financing.

The $25M fine closes out this action by the SEC. LU will not have to restate any of their financial transactions. If the $25M is paid out of LU's cash reserves, I don't think it's going to hurt them. If my memory is correct, LU has over $4B in cash.

I don't think this fine is a surprise to the Street nor anyone else. It sure won't hurt the credit rating which was just upgraded.

I wasn't able to access this site for the last two days. Everytime I tried I got the message that the page wouldn't open. I was wondering whether my welcome had worn out.
