Cheney speech was very effective in defining kerry. I am hoping that kerry becomes better at FP. He is no dope and he has to know that this is not vietnam and that we must win this thing by any means necessary. When FDR ran against Wilke in 1944, it was good to know that Wilkie was not isolationist like the opposition was in 1940. Republican changed their stripes back then. We need dems who do that now so if the unthinkable happens and bush is defeated at least the next guy will be tough on fp. It is more important for the country to have two candidates it can turn too.
