<<Internet bubble. Duh.>>

So over 200 years of economic growth before Bush was the internet bubble?

Here's the average economic growth by President since 1930:

Hoover -9.3%
FDR 9.2%
Truman 1.4%
Ike 2.9%
JFK/LBJ 4.9%
Nixon/Ford 2.8%
Carter 3.3%
Reagan 3.4%
Bush I 2.1%
Clinton 3.7%
Bush II 1.9% (so far)

What conclusions would you draw from this?

<<Shows how a lot of this is out of the control of the Pres.>>

It's funny you think job growth is largely out of the
control of the President but economic growth isn't.
Can you explain the difference?

<<Got my 1st loan under the Carter administration.
21%. Inflation was in the double digits, I believe.
And I thought the unemployment was pretty high too.>>

And yet we added over 10 million jobs to the economy.
It makes your Bush excuses seem kind of weak doen't it?

<<It's amazing to me the unemployment rate is not 8 ot 9%.>>

You need to understand that reducing the unemployment
rate by reducing the size of the workforce not only isn't
good, it's very bad. And that's exactly what's
been going on.

You say it's going to get better, i say we'll see.
