Explosives of that genre are bulky. Whomever it was made use of the materials of opportunity, so it doesn't prove that Al Qaeda did not do the deed.

This attack was different from both previous ETA AND previous Al Qaeda attacks. ... So what does this prove?

Spains NeoCon government said it proves ETA being the bomber "without any doubt".
But it's history now. Let's Move On.

Nadine...?

I trust you noted the news on Wednesday/Thursday referencing the death of the suspected bomber of the hotel in Baghdad? It appears to have been "involuntary."

I think you are correct there is a material difference in the recent attack in Spain, as well as the "new" response to such acts in Iraq.

My guess is that Europe, unfortunately, will have a problem of escalating terrorist acts having nothing whatever to do with our handling of Afghanistan and Iraq.
