I didn't hear the cries of hungry children during Clinton's 1996 campaign.

The average unemployment during the Clinton years was 5.7 percent. Now, under Bush, 5.6 percent, about normal. As you stated, where was all the howling by the left wing loonies then? And Clinton's years included the anomaly of those 4% years, mostly due to extraordinary runup in technology and the Y2K explosion of hiring, certainly nothing to do with Clnton's leadership.
I wonder, when the unions talk of jobs going overseas, do they remember Clinton signed the Nafta bill?????or conveniently forgotten????
