Re: ...there are only three suspects.

1) Spanish Royalists and Right Wingers hoping to secure the "law & order" vote

2) Mossad, hoping to blame fundamentalist Muslims in their quest for dominance in the Middle East

3) CIA or other secret right wing covert operatives within the U.S. government umbrella who want to extend their fiscal gains from 9/11.

LOL... First off, why don't you lump Mossad and CIA together? The latter is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the former, after all....

Anyway, how STUPID your crack spinmeisters are! As the official 311 story crumbles by the day, you'll get "leak current" running back into your so-far-perfect 911 spiel... Let's call it "retroactive contamination". I can't believe it: you Yanks had contrived the most cunning coverup ever --Bin Laden, the elusive mastermind hiding away in his Afghan lair; Mohamed Atta, the sophisticated squadron leader; the European immigrant sleepers; the heroic brawl over Pennsylvania between passengers and hijackers; Barbara Olson as the "guest star" aboard flight 77.... Perfect! Brilliant... until you saddled it with the Madrid carnage!? Why? 311 is gonna be the undoing of 911.

Gus

Ray,

<<<Doing a cui bono? analysis, there are only three suspects.>>>

You left out the guys who won the election, and whose party got the heave ho a few years back over corruption issues. The "right wingers" were supposedly ahead in the polls, so unless the poll numbers were pure fabrication, a destabilizing event gets lost as a motive. On the other hand, the Socialists were behind in the polls and somehow it became "common knowledge" the right had something to do with the attacks and the rumor spread like wild fire.

A lust for power is hardly a unique attribute found only in those leaning toward the right. From where I'm sitting the typical MO looks identical most days.
