Yup...he also told the president that he should fire Tenet for intelligence failures. Don't understand what failures he's talking about. When I read the intelligence report that was released for the public, it was chock full of caveats.

The fact that Bush decided to go to war based on that kind of intelligence means that it's squarely his responsibility for using it in that manner.

So extrapolating from what Perle said about Tenet, the person that really should get fired is Bush.

I think that Perle wants to axe Tenet to deflect criticism from the administration.

"Darn good intelligence"...makes you go hmmmmmmm.
