<Face it, Jacob, you are merely an apologist for murderous thugs> 1. Ad Hominem attack. You owe me an apology. 2. The terrorists and counter-terrorists are both murderous thugs. They think of each other in the same way, and both sides use unlimited violence in pursuit of their own agenda. Both casually kill huge numbers of civilians of Others. Both have a nasty habit of killing and torturing prisoners. The terrorists plainly say they see no distinction between civilian and military. The counter-terrorists say their intention is to only kill terrorists, but that intention is never realized. In practice, the counter-terrorists have far more firepower to use, so they end up killing more civilians than the terrorists. 3. Terrorists and counter-terrorists are both addicted to violence as the way to solve all problems, and they are in a co-dependant relationship. Bush justifies his violations of the Constitution, and his endless killing, by constantly evoking the Bin Laden Bogeyman. Likewise, Bin Laden justifies his endless killing, by constantly invoking the Bush (or Sharon, or Putin) Bogeyman. The Incitement is mutual, and mutually self-destructive.
