"John Kerry has an Al Gore problem. Gore was exposed during the 2000 presidential election as a congenital fibber. Among other whoppers, he falsely claimed that his poor old arthritic mother-in-law had to pay three times as much for her prescription medicine, Lodine, as Gore himself paid for the very same prescription medicine for his poor old arthritic family dog.

Kerry is a congenital flip-flopper. There hardly is any statement the Massachusetts senator has made, any principle for which the Democratic Party standard-bearer supposedly has stood, that he hasn't repudiated or abandoned to suit his vainglorious political ends.

JK voted FOR those items at a different time in better bills and it is a big fat lie that he was against the best weapons systems. The Republicans also backed the scrapping of MX and and B-2 because it made sense. The B-2's at 2 bilion bucks apiece were one of the most outrageously over-budget items in our nation's history. JK doesn't just write blank checks to defense contractors, he thinks hard about what we actually need and what the costs are. The Bush PR blitz you see now trying to prop up GW as the master commander is a lot of smoke and mirror, changing the subject from their thoughtless errors adn neglect. The war in Iraq is noit the issue, it's HOW it was done and what it's cost us on so many other fronts. Going in there without a poist-war plan was the stupidest things of all, plus the lies the Bushies told about the immediate threat of Saddam and his links to 9-11 are legion.
