You are scaring yourself with ghost stories. In the Muslim world (as the latest Pew poll makes very clear), there is broad and deep support for the agenda of removing non-Muslim soldiers from Muslim-majority lands. It ends there.

Maybe today it does....but Al Qaeda has mentioned Spain numerous times in their videotapes.

After the removal of non-Muslim troops and after the removal of the Israelis, it seems likely that people would start looking for the next opportunity for what would have been a very effective strategy.

India? Grenada?

It seems unlikely....but people didnt know that Hitler wouldnt be satisfied after the Munich agreement either. I dont think you can know whether it will "end there"....and human nature would seem to argue against it.

That's a realistic fear. If France decides to become an illiberal democracy, with the majority Seculars voting to suppress the culture of the minority Muslims, there will be conflict. And the conflict will turn violent, if the Muslims feel their way of life is threatened, and there are no legal ways to address their concerns.

It's only likely to turn violent if the Muslim minority is persuaded that violence will work. The civil rights movement in this country took a generation but never turned to violence as a mainstream technique because it was exceedingly unlikely to work.

I disagree whole heartedly with the French law, but if they are bombed, I seriously hope that they dont repeal it. The law itself isnt worth fighting for....but the principle is. There are legitimate forms of protest in a democracy and legitimate ways to get laws overturned....
