This is exactly what Mush had to say about operations..

President General Pervez Musharraf has said that a high value Al-Qaeda target was surrounded in Wana operation, and the operation will soon to reach to its logical end.

Talking with a US news channel Thursday President General Pervez Musharraf said that it was a routine operation but the response was fierce than expected, which suggests that the terrorists may be defending an important target.

In previous operations the terrorists went into hiding in mountains after skirmishes but now they are fighting pitched battles. We have tightened grip surrounding them striving to achieve the logical end of the operation, he further said.

The US TV reported that dozens of terrorists were killed in the battle, while Pakistani troops have also suffered human losses. The target surrounded by the Pakistani troops may be Osama ben Laden or his deputy Aiman Al Zawahiri, wanted to the United States since long time, the US TV said.

President Musharraf also talked on the domestic and international affairs in his interview.
