First of all, are you sure none testified with him? Your ref. please.
Secondly, did the possibility occur to you that they didn't want to take an active anti-war stance? That wouldn't mean they didn't admire him as their boat commander. Do you think their lying now? Get a grip, Goldie. What is it about his testimony before Congress that bothers you?
