"This is ultimately up to the Iraqi people to decide. "

No it is for the families of the dead and wounded US soldiers to decide.

I would like to see a republican chickenhawk explain to the family of a dead or maimed soldier why the war was "worth it" on account of freeing the Iraqi people. I imagine he would get the s**t kicked out of him in short order, which is as it should be.
