regarding what's ahead....most all of this has been prophesied by Isaiah.. see Isaiah 2:7 where he refers to our day....to our land being full of silver and gold, neither is there any end of their treasures; their land is also full of horses, neither is there any end of their chariots (automobiles, trains, planes, etc) Chapter 4....and in that day(the last days) seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear out own apparel: only let us be called by thy name to take away our reproach... Chapter 2..and they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth,...in that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats; to go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks... Chapter 5:26 and he will lift up an ensign to the nations from far, and will hiss unto them from the end of the earth: and, behold, they shall come with speed swiftly: None shall be weary nor stumble among them (because they will travel to their destination in a car or plane and not be walking)..none shall slumber nor sleep (because their modes of transportation...cars and planes are so swift they dont have to take days and night and sleep on the way)..neither shall the girdle of their loins be loosed not the latchet of their shoes be broken..whose arrows are sharp...their horses' hoofs shall be counted like flint(rail roads..keep in mind this is a prophet trying to describe things in the 20th and 21st centuries from what he saw 2000 years bc...) and their wheels like a whirlwind; Their roaring shall be like young lions(..sound of jet airplane) happy trails,
