That's BS revisionist history!

Is not. Don't your remember those polls where large majorities of voters thought that there were Iraqi terrorists on those planes?

That misunderstanding was
part of the left's disinformation campaign to get folks to
be against the war.

It doesn't matter how the dummies came to that understanding--whether Bush mislead or they succumbed to a disinformation campaign or whatever. They still thought it and it still influenced them in their support of the war. Nothing revisionist about that.

True! When 9/11 happened, Bush went to war on terrorism, not
just against Al Qaeda. Bush included rogue regimes that
harbored, sponsored or supported terrorism.
That also is
an irrefutable fact.

Looking back at the SI threads from early on, both some on SI and the media they were quoting decided to just forget about 'rouge regimes that harbored, sponsored or supported terrorism'........ Most convenient memory lapse if you wanted to maintain Saddam in power...

The anti-war folks must have just thought that Saddam would just implode eventually. Someday, off in the future. Maybe.
