Phil > Price increases in finished products due to raw materials is in the pipeline. However, that doesn't mean run away inflation because there there aren't any jobs, and wage increases are non-existent. The FED of course realizes that and therefore they keep interest rates low. Price increases to come without wage inflation spells a lower standard of living.

Thanks and I think you are right that the worst is yet to come. In fact, it looks to me that Joe Soap is in for a very hard time what with all the debt (personal and national), rising prices and a falling standard of living. And of course military expenditure all round the globe. Looks to me that if the actually set out to destroy the US they couldn't have done a better job.
