Wstera, I feel bad when you go to all that work putting together posts with lots of links on tangents you divine from my posts like the one earlier about "adventurism" or with elaborate arguments like this one about "misleading." I realize it's not my fault if you go off like that, but a few times I've felt so bad that I've even tried to answer them, a counter-productive exercise if ever I saw one. Please consider saving both your energy and my distress at having to choose between guilt over having inadvertently triggered the unrequited expenditure of energy on your part and rudeness over ignoring your post to me.

Those polls don't prove a damn thing Karen. They don't
change the fact that it was the liberal left that
intentionally misled the world into believing that Iraq
had ties to 9/11.

You're creating straw men again. I mentioned "...the misunderstanding that Iraqis were involved contributed mightily to US popular support for the war." I didn't say anything about how that misunderstanding came about. I simply referred to the existence of the misunderstanding, which is a fact, in the course of discussing another point.

If you want to continue to go off on tangents or rail at me about issues that I didn't raise, I can't help it but I won't be exacerbating that particular waste of energy by participating.

Unless from time to time it amuses me... <g>
