McCain defends Kerry because he has principles which go beyond blind party loyalty. McCain and Kerry are brothers in arms (though they had to settle their differences) and both know the other is an honest man. McCain learned the hard way about honesty after the Lincoln S+L fiasco. Now he's an anti-corruption champion. McCain would never stick up for JK unless he knew Jk was both homnest and the real deal on military and ocnter-terrorism issues.

Chinu...a bit of a stretch...but heck, this is not about truth, it is politics...(s)

Thankfully politics are the only area where people get way off track in what is being said. Can you imagine if it was the case with most subjects? It would be like living in bizzaro land.
