The CRUX of the miscalculation was that the Administration (whomever that is) did not realize that there would be sufficient TERRORIST activity AFTER the war that would slow down the reconstruction and the rejuvenation of the oil pipe lines. Had ALL Iraqi's cooperated oil would now be GUSHING out to the world, pump prices probably would not be rising. Iraq is NOT a member of OPEC and could have been a counterbalance to whats happening at the moment. Considering we had no choice but to listen to the Iraqi's HERE since we had NO HUMAN INTELLIGENCE on the ground THERE its an understandable mistake. jdn

s2, the problem is, this President can't admit that he was wrong. Obviously, he can't in an election year. But it is the coverups that will bring him down, not the act. Just like Nixon and other Republican crooks.
