I don't. If you play chess, you know Steinitz: you cannot attack out of an unstable position without enough defensive resources. That's what Aznar did. The "success" of the terrorist is s***, but the one to blame is Aznar, not the people. With all the stories, he was unelectable anymore.

It was posted here, but a re-read is not inappropriate given the latest developments.
I believe that the French really do a highly unspectacular, but very effective work against the terrorist. No impressive TV pictures, downplaying the fight, as less as media platform (for terrorism!) as possible but a high energy fight.
The least thing we need in this fight are embedded journalists. Or corollary: when we have embedded journalists and a lot of TV pics, it cannot be an effective fight against terror. Whatever else it might be.
