Agreed. Actually, this has been occurring for a very long time between us Europe and Japan. We just didn't notice it as much until China, Taiwan and the other SE ASIA really got involved. And now many garments are made in Central America for our markets. No matter the country, mph is able to sniff out those "bargains." <g>

one of the biggest issues that I see is that some things being outsourced offshore are not physically tangible. That is service and engineering (software/hardware). How do you tariff these things.

I'm not presenting this as a pro-tariff position, just that it is something to think about.
