Microsoft has agreed to reveal its source code, but that may not be good enough for Chinese authorities. "They want to develop their own software, and Linux is open and available over the Internet," says IDC analyst Dan Kusnetzky. "They see it as way to build an I.T. infrastructure and become a major player."
