nice -- think how much could have been accomplished for US interests and the interests of the Iraqi people, had we instead relaxed the trade restrictions 10 years ago, instead of the mess we've created now. Heck, the Iraqis might have gotten rid of Sadam on their own -- would they have a democratic government?? No ... and they don't have one now either ... and I'd hazard a bet that they won't for at least the next 20 now
