And, even though I am fine now - and employed in IT - I have no desire to see an entire future industry leave the US.

I heard someone propose elsewhere that in the future, perhaps US hospitals would close - open Indian branches, and fly people from the US to India for surgery - since it would be cheaper.

Ditto US Universities. Would public schools be far behind
(distance learning with Indian teachers - using broadband networks, and HDTV in the classrooms - or from home - that would save serious dollars...??

At what point does it become ridiculous?
