Techs are the prime example of futility of capital investment here. In world full of excess capacity (in excess of what people can actually pay for, without 0% financing), they are trying to fight the main thrust of the debt deflation.

Financials, on the other hand, are like Greenspan's arms dealers. They seem to win no matter who wins the war; they just provide the ammunition. It won't be until the later stages that they get wiped out as well.
