We are usually talking about how Uncle Al, the fiat's pal, is printing money and the late and unreliable PPI statistics. There is never much talk about what the Canadian government is doing with regard to printing money and if anyone has any information they can share it would be helpful. The new $100 dollar bills are now out and I would guess that most ATM's will be spitting them out like wooden nickles. Good thing too, as those $50's don't go very far these days. But take heart, our own version of liars called Statistics Canada is trying to peddle this line. Funny, I don't remember gas prices being any higher than they are right now. As well, the lowest price of sliced white in my local Loblaw's has gone from .99 to 1.17.
