Why are you so hopeful that allies will abandon the effort in Iraq?

Your post reveals with utter clarity your character and intent – party and politics uber alles - If allies abandon Iraq, the terrorists will have think they have won will try to affect elections as they think they did in Spain.

Not even your candidate supports this. His statement of last Thursday urged the incoming Spanish PM to reconsider. Even Kerry recognizes the danger. This of course only coming after being embarrassed into it by Sean Hannity.

(On Wednesday, Hannity pointed out the opportunity lost to demonstrate leadership, by not coming forward and encouraging allies not to give terrorists a victory. It was only then, that Kerry said anything.)

I'll bet you are holding your breath right now in hopes that OBL or Zawahiri are not cornered in Packistan.
