I've certainly gotten the impression that Greenspan is signaling a rate hike. Why haven't you?

What was news to me was Ms. Tyson's assertion that the Senate had created some sort of a rule that precludes making the tax cuts permanent without offsetting revenues. Sounds like a revival of the Gramm-Rudman-Hollings tax/revenue neutrality stricture that was applied during the mid 1990s. That would be a blessing if it is true.
