Thanks for taking the time to post Kerry's 1971 Winter Soldier speech...We will have occasion to come back to it here, I'm sure.

Your 'worst nightmare' is the same one that many, if not most, of us have.

We KNOW what Bush has done, and accomplished in 3 years. We know what happened, and didn't happen 1992-2000, and in many regards, we are paying for those years now.

As I said the other day, IMO, Kerry doesn't know what Kerry thinks about what any given minute, and once he thinks about it, we know now that he will reverse it nearly immediately. Or will talk with an open mike. Or will let the UN deal with it...(notice he hasn't responded to the scandal with the UN-Iraq food-for-oil program...)...Shoes seem to be dropping every day from him.

Yes, Kerry was wrong in 1971 and he is wrong now.

We did in fact fight communism all over the world using military, political and economic pressure. That was a winning combination that Kerry still refuses to acknowledge. The folks in Eastern Europe know it worked and, unlike Kerry, are flocking to support America now.

It is a winning combination now too... and still Kerry refuses to acknowledge it. Kerry finds a way to criticize everything including his own record which he also refuses to acknowledge... "I voted for the bill before I voted against it."

I noticed Kerry skiing and snowboarding alone. A left-wing liberal probably can't find anyone in Idaho worth hanging out with.

PoliPundit - Kerry's Testimony

John Kerry's outrageous 1971 Senate testimony will be shown on C-SPAN's Road to the White House today. This video will not be available online; so set your TiVo or, if you're still living in the 20th century, your VCR. (Edit - The program airs Sundays on C-SPAN at 6:30pm ET & 9:30pm ET.)

Also, the March 28 edition of Road to the White House will feature an anti-war appearance by Kerry in 1971 on The Dick Cavett Show. I wasn't born then; so don't know the details of what Kerry said. But, given his ultra-leftwing radicalism at the time, it should be very interesting.

Now if only we can get NBC to stop its transparently partisan censorship and release the audio of Kerry's 1971 appearance on Meet the Press...
