But importantly this monetary inflation is occurring at the same time as there are significant metal supply shortages during a period of strongly rising demand, which situation is likely to be present for many years. It is an explosive combination. This, in my view, is not a normal base metal cycle, which has been related historically to USA housing starts and the Industrial production numbers of the western world. This is a fundamental change in the market that will persist for a long time.
