Please tell us if you have any more of these creative guidlines. All's fair in politics apparently. And I did not say that you should not quote Kerry from that period, except to note that you're out of context. But that is what republicans do. They take things out of context and twist the meaning of things, like trying to tie Saddam to the 9-11 attacks. As far as GWB's guard service, there are irregularities. And the President lied about his service in his White House Bio, which has been changed, and in a book about the president. So if Bush will lie about his service, what else will he lie about? And there is still a year of his service where there is no record that he showed up. Highly irregular indeed.Kerry had the intent of reducing military spending so that we would not use it. Fine, that is a perfectly legitimate position on which reasonable people can disagree. Fine? That's nothing but RNC spin. Kerry's intent was not to leave the military impotent. That was not his intent and you know it, yet you will lie and spin it that way.But the problem is it is not politically convenient for Kerry right now, so it must me suppressed at all costs. The only thing that needs to be suppressed are the lies and spinning of the RNC. Because it's going to cost them the election this time. The people will see through the spin and see it as part of a larger campaign of mis-information. Whether we're talking about a jobs program masquerading as a tax cut, or a war because of the imminent threat of Weapons of Mass Destruction. Orca
