Sadly, there are too few voters who evaluate candidates on what their background, history, and record suggests that they will actually do for the country, and too many who are swayed by negative ads and noise substituting for substance.

So, since it works, that's what we'll get for the next eight months.

Makes you want to cry.

Plato was right, you know. Democracy is ultimately an unstable and self-destructive form of government.
