That's terrific, jallen. You SHOULD be proud! And yes, I would be terrified, too, but I wonder if all us parents aren't more terrified now than we used to be or ever thought we would be. Dan and I have noticed that even though they leave home, they in no way leave our hearts and remain the uppermost, constant concern for us. I worry even more now because mom can't fix things with simple bandaids and hugs. Nor can I can't stop them from running out into the traffic or climbing high into metaphorical trees. That truly is wonderful about your son.
