Thanks again. That was an interesting and thorough post. COW sent me to a web page that had the WHOIS link. The HTGUIDE web site is registered to a guy in Switzerland, it has two servers located in Lexington KY and the US guy that answers email is also located there.

All this network stuff is confusing to an outsider, what with all its acronyms and different protocols. But, a router should be a router and if they all are compliant with the appropriate standards there should be no problem, especially for something as simple as connecting to a web site.

I think the problem lies with the web site. Your analysis also supports this assumption. Now if I can just get the fellow in Lexington that answers emails to nudge the guy in Switzerland that owns the web site. If you are so inclined you could send a message to:

He wants this problem fixed but needs some "ammunition" to nudge the guy in Switzerland.
