I believe Thomas has demonstrated a lack of critical thought process, combined with a cheerleader's enthusiasm. He appears to share AS's trait of responding to requests that he back up his broad, sweeping allegations by changing the subject or firing back a question in response. Were I the moderator, I'd likely boot him. That said, he may have value as a comic foil. Perhaps you should keep him around for a while and see whether he can provide a few moments of bemused entertainment to the thread.
