it is inflation, but the inability of business to pass on cost increases is deadly. some inflation is considered healthy. too little, and certainly, too much is unhealthy. greenie is keeping interest rates low because of the fragile nature of the economy. jmho. larry

There is a limit to just how far something can be "passed on". I'm lucky that I at a point where I can "just say no". We will be exploring the costs of doing stick and stucco now or block construction. I have heard that CalTrans has canceled several road projects as well.

This cost volatility coupled with Ca's already high real estate costs will slam the door shut on quite a bit of any new industrial construction. "IMO" (Maybe a buying opp on existing?)

Next week I'll be attending a conference for a buying org I'm associated with in my industry where we expect to be bootstrapped on exactly what the impact will be on equiptment and fixture prices going forward. I'm told it's not going to be pretty.

He didn't say someone wouldn't pay for it.. what it means ,, demand for the products are there... and down the road inflation and higher interest rates. demand is good, economy is growing.

Kudlow is right maybe 50%. but he is refreshing, expresses some new thoughts into cable programs that are normally presented right from someone's script on the prompter.

I Like Kudlow also - he is biased, but understands and clearly articulates his point of view. Not a mismash we get from many commentators. He also presents viewpoints which aren't often on TV - ideological,(and often wrong) but often useful.

Also he has some beltway connections, and that als provides some interest.
