IMHO many are trying to hold on to the huge gains and hedge which in turn generate many dislocations.

Just thing of the size of the various pension funds and the new funds tied to certain indexes and also who guaranties floor to your investment. Banks are floating billions upon of those funds to lure out savers from their CD’s
